Sandeep Jauhar has an excellent column in yesterday’s New York Times on the challenges involved in paying doctors for quality, rather than quantity.
Though Dr. Jauhar stops short of recommending how to address those challenges, he strikes many of the same themes as my P4P article — only much more articulately and succinctly.
