Stephanie Rugolo was the Managing Editor of HumanProgress.org at the Cato Institute’s Center for Global Liberty and Prosperity. Before joining Cato in 2012, she conducted academic research in the West Bank, advised public programs for the disabled in Kerala, India, and worked on social programs for undocumented immigrants in Arizona. Her research interests include human progress, domestic economic development, and policy issues related to her home state of Arizona. Her work has appeared in The Arizona Republic, Reason.com, ElCato.org, and E21 at The Manhattan Institute. She holds two BAs summa cum laude from Arizona State University and an MA magna cum laude from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
