Lanier Saperstein

Lanier Saperstein is a partner in the New York office of Dorsey & Whitney LLP. Lanier represents foreign banks in cross-border litigation and regulatory matters and is recognized as an “international banking expert” by The Washington Post. Lanier is a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Compliance Committee, Co-Chair of its Banking Subcommittee, and a member of the Council on Judicial Administration. He sits on the China General Chamber of Commerce–USA’s Legal Counsel Committee and is an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School, where he has taught classes on banking law. He routinely writes on matters impacting financial institutions, and his writings have been cited in dozens of law journals. Lanier received his BA from the College of William & Mary, MSc from the London School of Economics and JD from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.
