Thomas A. Firey is a senior fellow and managing editor of the Cato Institute’s magazine Regulation. He also is senior fellow for the Maryland Public Policy Institute.
Firey has published op‐eds in the New York Times, the Washington Post, USA Today, Hartford Courant, and the Baltimore Sun.
Firey holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from St. Mary’s College and a master’s in philosophy from Virginia Tech.
