President Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order banning transgender athletes from women’s sports.

Neal McCluskey, the director of Cato’s Center for Educational Freedom, posted on X stating, “The feds should stay out of values conflicts like this.”

He also provided a statement saying, “Millions of people and thousands of communities must be able to freely make their own decisions. This is consistent with a free society and the best way to reach a sustainable balance of rights and desires.”

Neal is the author of the book The Fractured Schoolhouse: Reexamining Education for a Free, Equal, and Harmonious Society and maintains Cato’s Public Schooling Battle Map, both of which are focused on fostering peace and unity in a diverse society.
