John Samples Looks at President Obama’s Justification for War in Libya.

John Samples is the Director of Cato’s Center for Representative Government. He spoke at a Hill Briefing on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 and contrasted President Obama’s justification for war in Libya — a decision largely based on a U.N. resolution — with what the Founders intended when they wrote the Constitution. Samples says that the Founders would agree with the idea that “it should be hard to get into wars and easy to leave them.”
